Jack Doherty Robbed in LA: How the YouTube Star Lost $300K in Minutes

On April 26, 2025, YouTuber and streamer Jack Doherty was reportedly robbed of $300,000 worth of jewelry in Los Angeles, despite being accompanied by his 6’9” bodyguard. 

The incident occurred on Rodeo Drive, a high-end shopping district in Beverly Hills.  Doherty later explained on TikTok how he was robbed. 

This is not the first time Doherty’s security team has been involved in controversy. His bodyguard, Kane Kongg, was previously served legal papers over an alleged assault at a Halloween party. 

The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating the robbery. If the perpetrators are caught, they could face grand theft charges. 

This incident highlights the risks associated with flaunting wealth on social media. Doherty’s experience serves as a reminder of the importance of personal security and discretion in the digital age.
