Sauti From East “Footprints”

In 2019— After building overwhelming anticipation and delivering a hit single called Hakuna Matata, which entered in Top charts on radios in the UK, Nigeria, And some other African countries, offering them interviews and tremendous new experiences. The road hasn’t been merciful but steady they ascended to their success and boom! today we are witnessing the birth of this great masterpiece, with some impressive fusion of sounds, melodies and messages.

Sauti From East is a duo music group from Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. It comprises Christopher Daniel (Chris Daniel) and Christopher Undule (Chris Ringson). The duo’s sound can be best described as Pop and Afro-pop. Sauti from East was formed In Mbeya City by the two best friends Chris Daniel and Chris Ringson, while in college, where they were both taking their diplomas in accounting at the Tanzania Institute of Accountancy (TIA).

Later on, Sauti from East relocated to Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. And since then, they have officially, released several songs to date like Banana 2022, Dede 2021, Mama, IF, and Blame on me (2020). Xenophobia (2019) Hakuna Matata (2019). Da’slam (2018). Gift From God (2018). Merry Christmas (2017). Someone Else (2017).

In September 2020, they performed at the Giants Verified hosted by Plus TV that featured other vibrant Artists. In this historical night for the duos, they found themselves at the heart of the fans and got requested to perform “Hakuna Matata” five times on national TV.
They performed at the Bagamoyo Festival that started on Oct 19th-26th, 2019
In September 2019, they performed at Wasafi Festival in Iringa.
In 2017 and 2018 they were featured in the Uzalendo campaign which attracted over 5000 thousand fans at the Jakaya Kikwete Convention Centre witnessed by the Minister of Information, Culture, Arts, and Sports.
The same year, they were appointed by BASATA (National Art Council) to compose and present the official anthem for Jamafest where they also shared the stage with couples of the biggest artists like Vanessa Mdee, Diamond Platnumz, Rayvanny, Navy Kenzo, and many more from East Africa, the event which witnessed the insane 50,000 music fans from all over East Africa.
The highly anticipated first full-length album, FOOTPRINTS, features various artists from Africa like “Roberto” The amarula’s song super star from Zambia, and all-time hit makers from Tanzania, Baddest47, Linah, Ms Geezy, Brian Simba, Mchapi, Otuck Williams and Mex Cortez.
