LAZ “Comeback”

Comeback” by Vancouver based rapper LAZ has to be some of his best work yet. The mixing and mastering on this track is done in a way to create a grimey, triumphant atmosphere to the tune. The raw, hard-hitting lyrics on this track highlights the rappers intense energy, passion and perseverance. With proclamations such as “i’ll be a fighter until the end” you can’t help but feel motivated while listening to this track. LAZ’s cadence is reminiscent of that of Jay Rock and Asap Ferg in songs like “WIN” and “Plain Jane”. The Vibe that LAZ exudes includes a touch of the intense energy of Meek Mill mixed in with the lyrical prowess of Kendrick Lamar, shown in witty play on words with lines such as “2020 get the clear vision/ you’ll fallin’ at the mere mention or “ On the bench and you still playin’/ gotta ask you is you sane/ on the track like i’m usian/”. This song is sprinkled with double entendres of clever references. This track will hype you up right from the get go and the short length ensures replay value as I played it again and again and again…. You get the point. This is a song that can and should be played before, during and after a workout. This is versatile, motivational music that will inspire those who feel like their back is against the wall or will be a celebratory anthem for those at the crux of victory.

Laz says his future plans are to keep releasing singles during the summer while working on a project set to release in the near future. Keep an eye out for this kid he has a vision!!
