In an interview with Lyrics & Threads, PTE IZZY discusses his creative process and unpacks how indie artists can thrive with solid brand perception.
Izzy, very nice of you to join us. What have you been working on lately?
Hey man, Thanks for having me. So far, I’m working on my upcoming Album Called “Kill Time” I Also have been working on a few new songs.
What does your creative process look like?
Honestly, man its a little lengthy process I sit and relax for a few days, then I listen to music, get ideas and start writing to some beats, and whatever song or song I feel is valid is the one I focus on more and put hard work into it and make sure it comes out perfect and unique.
Does the reality of being an indie artist/entrepreneur line up with your expectations of being one?
Yes and no, I have in my mindset as of right now I will continue being an independent artist until the right deal comes along or someone takes an interest in me and decides to mentor me and help me build my career.
When it comes to your brand, what’s the biggest takeaway you want fans to have?
I want them to feel like family PTE is based On Family Off of fun, excitement, and hard work. We all in PTE work hard to get to where we are And move forward day by day to perfect ourselves and our future as not a team but as a family.
Do you have a favourite quote or scripture verse, or motto that you live by?
