We first introduced you all to Los Angeles artist Honoré (pronounced honor-ray) when he dropped his Single “Cassette.” Well he is finally done with his new album “Purple.” When asked what the was the motivation behind the album which releases 7/15; Honoré said:
“I’m super excited to release my new album titled Purple with Estabrook Road Records. This has been an ongoing project for the past 3 years. This album is testament of what I’ve been going through from my past until the present day. I wanted to create an album solely written and produced by myself.
I’m truly proud of the singles we released so far: Cassette and The First Time x Soultree. The 1st half of the Purple album is a mixture of the fun/ sexy sides of falling in love. The 2nd half is learning how to deal with the tragic/ sad side of losing that love. I did add a cover version of Snoh Aalegra’s “Dying 4 your love” . I felt it captured the essence of what I wanted to achieve on this album. I truly believe this Purple album will speak to all the hearts of the world. Give it a listen, my hope is that it makes you dance, smile, give you hope, cry, and fall in love all over again…”
