Meet Shahn Donovan

At a glance, Shahn Donavan is a young but accomplished Singer, Songwriter, Actor, Activist, and Model with ten years of experience in the Entertainment and Fashion Industry. As a small town boy raised in Burtonsville, Maryland, born on February 2^nd, 1993; he sought a better world for himself and others. Shahn’s positively fresh perspective on life’s challenges has enhanced his creative depth in each of his ventures.

Of all of his crafts, Shahn is especially proud of his intensive activism; he can identify causes in need and provide solutions that would improve their impact. Because of his skills, Shahn has garnered a powerhouse reputation in the fight against Abuse, Addiction, and HIV in Trenton, New Jersey, through Impulse DC and Volunteers of America.

He caters to major causes and non-profit organizations. More than his role as a Social Activist, he is also effective at persuading and influencing high-ranking individuals. His opinions are highly valued; people trust and respect his judgments. Many begs the question, WHY? 

Shahn is one of the actual living embodiments of a survivor, his story of overcoming parental loss and abuse at a young age and his battle with HIV in his later years and how it reshaped the course of his life serves as an inspiration for all those that face similar plights. His life experiences gave his activism its purpose and depth. He intends to use his life story to encourage others to seek help for themselves and loved ones.

Shahn is currently earning a degree in BS Interdisciplinary Music Studies at the Berklee College of Music. Through this course, his passion and interest in the Musical and Performing Arts grew. 

In particular, he focused his energies on honing his vocal and songwriting talents; this effort gave birth to a small insightful catalog of musical gems including, Dear Mom and Lust Ain’t Love. Apart from Shahn’s Musical and Social Activism ventures, he is now gaining fast notoriety as a Runway Model; he will be featured in the hit TV Competition Series Fashion Hero, Season Two, which is Hosted by Brooke Hogan and is scheduled to air in late 2020 or early 2021.

Here, he will be competing with thirty-nine other contestants in an array of challenges. The show aims to showcase a wide range of diverse body types, each making their mark in the Fashion Industry. The show in co-operates Major Fashion Influences and Mentorship to develop the contestants not just for the competition but for their careers.

Shahn’s fascination with the World of Fashion comes from his humanitarian efforts as demonstrated by his missions in and around America, meeting and sharing stories with some of the greatest creative minds, observing how each express themselves through either Music or Fashion allowed him to better himself personally and professionally.

His long-term goal is to become a national-level humanitarian advisor and musician. He wants to use his untiring commitment and drive to bring more dignity and autonomy to victims of abuse. With his platform, he intends to broaden and intensify the national efforts towards the betterment of minority groups affected by HIV and victims of violence (either by peers or relatives). Shahn has touched the lives of thousands with his courage, and in the coming years, he will continue to reach a thousand more.
