Mark Newman ‘Scapegoat’

Americana singer/songwriter/guitarist Mark Newman released Empirical Truth (WBA/Danal Records) last summer, but the album is just as relevant for summer 2020 as it was in 2019. In fact, perhaps even more so – taking into account Mark’s strong political opinions and insightful lyrics regarding state of gun control and the Dakota Pipeline. I look forward to seeing what inspiration the current COVID 19 crisis and the fight over racial inequality brings him for the next record.
