Exclusive Interview: Jon Guetano Talks ‘TOUCH MY BODY,’ Inspiration, and the Future of EDM

Rising electronic music producer Jon Guetano has been making waves with his latest release TOUCH MY BODY, a high-energy track that’s gaining momentum across radio stations and playlists. We sat down with Jon to dive into his creative process, influences, and vision for the future of EDM.

The Sit Down:

Q: What’s your creative process like for your latest release, TOUCH MY BODY?

Jon Guetano: First, I had to get the groove solid—that was key. Then I went into full arrangement of the project before finishing it off with lots of effects. It was about building it layer by layer and creating something that hits from start to finish.

Q: What was the biggest challenge you faced in creating the track?

Jon Guetano: Definitely keeping the energy up throughout the track and making it interesting for listeners. There are a lot of little elements in there that took me a while to perfect. I wanted every section to feel alive.

Q: How do you stay inspired to keep creating?

Jon Guetano: Honestly, it’s the support my projects receive—whether it’s from major artists or getting radio play. It shows me I’m on the right path and gives me that extra drive to keep going back into the studio.

Q: What tools do you use to craft your sound?

Jon Guetano: I produce in Ableton Live. For this project, I used a lot of reverb, delay, and filters to shape the sound. Serum and FabFilter were big players in polishing everything.

Q: Who are your biggest musical influences?

Jon Guetano: Crusy and Tony Romera, without a doubt. Their production style gives me a lot of ideas and inspiration. I’m constantly learning from what they’re doing in the scene.

Q: What message do you want your music to convey to listeners?

Jon Guetano: I want to build an emotional connection through sound—to make people feel something and elevate their experience. Music is powerful, and I try to tap into that with every project.

Q: What’s your take on the future of electronic dance music?

Jon Guetano: I think the future looks bright. There are some incredible producers right now pushing boundaries with sound and style. I’m excited to see where it all goes in the next few years.

Q: If you could collaborate with any artist right now, who would it be?

Jon Guetano: It would definitely have to be Crusy. His production is next level right now, and I feel like we could create something really powerful together.

Q: What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?

Jon Guetano: Never give up, no matter how many people say no. Push through even on the days you feel like quitting—that’s what separates dreamers from doers.

Q: What was it like hearing your music on the radio for the first time?

Jon Guetano: It was surreal. Listening to my project on a national radio show was a proud moment. It gave me so much motivation to keep going and work on even bigger projects.
